Colour Quiz
Click on the title link and you will be transported to a nifty little site that gives you a personality overview based on two sets of colour selection preferences. I don't actually believe it reveals your true character "type" as other long Freudian tests do, but rather it provides insight on your present situation and feelings at any given time that you do the test. Somewhat like a mood ring.

Nina Hagen

Nina Hagen is an 80's German sex bomb. Labelled the 'Mother of Punk', she was into public discussions of God, UFO's, animal rights, and vivisections, and once appeared on an Austrian talk show explicitly simulating masturbation.
According to reviewer Fritz Rumler,
she thrusts herself into the music, aggressively, directly, furiously, roars in the most beautiful opera alto, then, through shrieks and squeals, precipitates into luminous soprano heights, she parodies, satirises, and howls on stage like a dervishMy favourite song of hers is the punk/funk/opera 'New York New York'. She goes CRAZY on stage - but even if you never get a chance to see live footage of her you can hear the wildness in her songs. Her voice actually shows you all those fantastic facial movements she makes.
Lust: Anthony Mundine
Sexiest man on my radar at the moment: middleweight champion boxer Anthony Mundine.
He was a former Rugby League player, a practicing Islamic and Aboriginal rights activist.
Now I never am usually attracted to men I've never met or seen in flesh, and most men that are considered particularly desirable (eg. Brad Pitt), I find rather mundane. But perhaps it is because I am pre-menstrual, or that I've suddenly realised that the male ideal of a thin, moody poet I had in my youth is no longer applicable, but the arrogance, power and self-assurance of well-built, ambitious masculinity suits me much more fittingly, judging by the strange heat between my legs every time I look at Mundine. So sexy!
But ofcourse that is what makes most Australians despise him, as opposed to his recent rival Green (whom he beat) - the quiet, blue-collar underdog. Green represents the Australian legend - laconic, easy-going, unassuming, hard-working. Meanwhile, Anthony "The Man/Mouth" Mundine is equivalent to the bragging self-promoting machismo of American culture.
I really don't care. Much to my boyfriend's annoyance.
Klaus Nomi
Klaus Nomi combined falsetto soprano opera, 1930's German cabaret, 1960's American pop, and 21st century synthesizers. He also presented an amazing visual image of a high fashion, heavily made-up futuristic Kabuki robot.
He emerged into the cultural scene in 1979, backing David Bowie on Saturday Night Live. He tragically died of AIDS in 1983.
My personal favourite of his music is 'Cold Song' - a slow, repetitive, organ-backed aria sang in an amazingly chilling falsetto. Although the song is so profoundly moving, you can almost see a neon stage, thick fog surrounding a stiff, robotic Nomi rising from his grave. I love it!
