Black People Love Us
I didn't know what "satire" was until grade 10, when we read Animal Farm and watched some boring movie about the White House featuring a lesbian actor. I still thought satire was some boring label attached to incomprehensible Brechtian plays and exaggerated political cartoons, until I encountered this site.
Johnny and Sally are very proud of having black friends, and their website features a multitude of testimonials from people who say things like "wassup", have natural rythm and unprofessional hairstyles.
"I love how Johnny and Sally refer to me as 'The Black Ryan' so no one gets confused when they are talking about me, this makes me feel special."
"After saying a multisyllabic word such as 'understand', Johnny will often follow it with a translation for my benefit like 'Dig?'. I am glad that he makes his big words accessible to me."
"Sally is so thoughtful. She always tries to set me up with every black guy she knows. Since we're both black that means my date and I will have so much in common."

That's pretty great but, even without the text, the image says it all.
